I found Omni Tech Institute to be a great school. Mr. Lester is very impressive and intelligent . The financial aide department and my advisor were both very helpful. I have always believed that the more you put in to a class the more you will get out of it. I graduated in 2008 and my husband will graduate this year. Personaly, I was not that impressed with the rude comments posted about my school. My husband and I have never been sexually harassed. I would recommend attending this school to anyone looking for a career in the Metro Atlanta area. 129056e

U do not know what I have witnessed. U can not tell me that about the countless stories of former students without jobs and further in debt. We have over 300 million people in this country, only 9% are unemployed. The media sensationalizes the unemployment story, but, people are getting jobs and starting careers. But, not the majority ofOTI grads. The reason, because he's taking their (the governments) money and not giving them anything useable in return. I know from what I speak. |

I am directing my words to one of the problems/causes of the plight of my people. This is not for me. For me, I am highly intelligent, educated and gainfully employed. However, I have witnessed many of my brothers and sisters matriculate through that school and come out in more dire staits than they started. I speak for them. The many stories of those who attended OTI and were left without jobs, those that were hoodwinked and bamboozled. Obviously, with this current economic climate, many are in dire straits. My heart goes out to them. However, I am speaking from what I know; what I have witnessed. For those who do not have the tools to articulate their sentiments. OTI may have helped a select few, however, many, in particular audio students have been left devastated without employment. |
